Congratulations to the 2007 Jingle Bell Run 5K First Place Finisher and Top Fundraiser David de Steiger.
We applaud David de Steiger, age 24 from East Lansing, for not only taking first place in his age group (Males 20-24)with a winning time of 16:28, but David was also the top fundraiser for the 2007 Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis. David raised over $4,400 in honor of his two sisters Kelly and Katelyn, both who live with Arthritis. David is pictured here with his sister Kelly at the New York City Marathon on November 4, 2007. He completed the Marathon in an impressive 2 hours and 46 minutes.
Kelly de Steiger was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis when she was ten years old. Now an adult, she continues to battle arthritis. David's younger sister, Katelyn, age 23 was diangosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis three years ago.
It is because of people like David de Steiger that the Arthritis Foundation can can continue in its mission to provide leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis. Thank you to all who participated in the 20th Annual Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis.
